# Sydney Airport transfers (SYD)

> Plan a private Sydney Airport transfer from T1, T2 or T3. Compare AUD base fares, airport pickup arrangements, waiting time and child-seat options.

From an international arrival at T1 to a domestic flight at T2 or T3, book the terminal you actually land at—not just “Sydney Airport”. A private transfer takes your group and luggage directly to your Sydney address.

## Pickup arrangements
T1 International is separate from the T2/T3 Domestic precinct. Pre-booked limousines use designated ground-transport collection arrangements, not the public taxi queue. Your confirmation determines the meeting point; domestic driver access and parking rules can affect where a name-sign greeting takes place.

## Before arrival
Include the flight number and terminal so the pickup can be planned around the correct arrivals area. Allow time for immigration, baggage and customs on international arrivals. If your flight or terminal changes, use the booking confirmation instructions rather than walking to another terminal to look for the car.

## Onward travel
For a CBD hotel, supply the street entrance rather than just the hotel brand. For a harbour-side address or suburban trip, enter the full destination: the driving route and tolls matter more than a straight-line airport distance. Book hourly hire separately if you need several stops and time at each.

## Prices and rules
Economy Sedan: AUD 80 transfer base / AUD 2.20 per extra km / AUD 85 per hour.
Luxury Sedan: AUD 100 transfer base / AUD 3.00 per extra km / AUD 130 per hour.
Economy People Mover: AUD 130 transfer base / AUD 2.80 per extra km / AUD 120 per hour.
Luxury Van: AUD 160 transfer base / AUD 3.40 per extra km / AUD 160 per hour.

Transfer base fares include 15 km; hourly hire minimum 2 hours. These are base fares, not all-in airport-to-city prices.
Airport pickup Meet & Greet name sign AUD 35, automatically added; not added for airport drop-off only. Baby seat (0–3) AUD 25; child seat/booster (3–6) AUD 25 each. Maximum 2 child seats in sedans, 3 in people movers; include children plus at least one adult in the passenger count.
Free waiting: airports 60 minutes; other locations 15 minutes.
Only the highest fare multiplier applies: night 21:00–05:59 ×1.5; state/local public holiday ×2; New Year’s Eve 31 Dec 18:00–1 Jan 05:59 ×4.5. Extras and tolls are not multiplied. Road tolls are itemised at cost; when routing cannot price them, the quote warns that tolls are additional.
Book at least 2 hours ahead using the pickup city’s local time. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. 50% within 24 hours, 100% within 2 hours or no-show.
Partner promo codes are entered at the final step and reduce fare/extras, not tolls. Pay the driver on the day unless the booking explicitly offers another payment option. A quote request is not a confirmed booking. The booking quote/confirmation controls the actual price and pickup instructions.
